Darjeeling Himalayan Railway
A UNESCO World Heritage Site
Darjeeling Himalayan Railway celebrated two decades as World Heritage Site on 05.12.2019 at Darjeeling. Program started with hoisting of Indian National Flag at Darjeeling Railway station and flagging off Ceremonial Special train by DHR Officials and the Guests. Run for DHR also organised from Ghum to Darjeeling and hundreds of people from every age group participated in it. Inauguration of exhibition related to DHR and Arts by local artists done at Chowrasta. Coffee table book of DHR also released there. A grand cultural event organised at Chowrasta and several breathtaking performances given by local artists.
